What we do in our classes

Classes are designed to be lively and are all about having fun with dance, music & movement. There are no exams to pass and no people to compete with. In fact we aim for children to have so much fun that you won’t even notice your child increasing  his/her co-ordination, physical skill and fitness, whilst developing independence, a sense of achievement, following instructions and learning social skills. We use both fine and gross motor skills, role-play, rhythm, melody, memory and repetition.

Our classes are taught in a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere while working in accordance with the DfE's (Department for Education) guidelines for young children. We include a large selection of props, such as musical instruments, scarves, ribbons, bean bags, parachute and lots more.

New themes and activities are introduced regularly, further building on your child’s existing skills.

What to Expect:

Each session starts with our introductory warm-up. Next we explore age-appropriate movement sequences following different stories and themes. We often have a free dance section where children can explore a large selection of dance props and sensory dance materials. The class is finished with a goodbye song.
